Other Info | Hub City Sounds’ 1st Annual Indo-American Festival will offer mouthwatering treats, music and theatre performances inspired by the rich tradition and culture of India. Hub City Sounds is a FREE and Family welcoming Performing, Visual and Culinary Arts festival series with events for all tastes! Local artists are featured at neighborhood parks and theatre venues located in the heart of Downtown New Brunswick, NJ. Festivalgoers are welcome to bring blankets or chairs for lawn seating at park events. The performance types, styles and cuisine will vary reflecting the diverse population of New Brunswick’s community and of the region. This weekly series will consist of over 50 performances showcasing Indo-American, Latino, Caribbean, African American and Irish-American communities, highlighting multiple genres; including jazz, reggae, punk, soul, dance, salsa, drumming (traditional, African and Tabla), Celtic Rock, and more. |
